Halfway Mark Check-in

Happy Wednesday! I hope you all are having a great pre-Valentine’s Day week. Or as I like to call it, a regular week lol. I am back in Dallas and will not be traveling anytime in the foreseeable future. And I’m excited to be home because I’m ready to get back to my boring, every day schedule and routine. I also am really happy to be home so I can actually cook something rather than eating something pre-made. Even though I LOVE eating out, lord doing it all the time was a lot.

I was having a hard time coming up with a topic for today. I was going to write about skin and skin health in general but there was no real point or information that I was providing (because I’m not a Doctor lol). And I would like to talk about skin more in depth at a later time as it pertains to stretch marks and sagging skin, but I’m not there for the latter part.

So today, I just want to check-in. I have a renewed sense of motivation for my journey. I have been eating healthy this week, worked out the past 2 days, and overall feel pretty good. I have noticed I’m not snacking as much so I’m not sure what that’s about, but I’ll take it. Now did I gain a couple of pounds while I was away, yes. Mainly from that last weekend, I needed to pig out while I acclimated being back lol. But overall, I’m proud of how I ate and how I did while I was gone. Much different than 6 months ago.
