Thanksgiving, Sick, and a New Month

Happy Tuesday everyone! It’s been a minute. I was sick the beginning of last week and then just got busy with other things. But here we are – another week 🙂 I hope you all had a Happy Thanksgiving and ate everything up. I know I did!

I am going to pick back up on the challenges on the ones we would be on already. The week we are living in  was a No Carbs/No Sweets Challenge which is funny because today is Natl Cookie Day and I made a family recipe of cookies – ha! So if you want to cut down on sweets and processed carbs this week, let’s do it! Here are the next few weeks:

Week 5 : December 9-15 : Daily Push-up Challenge

Week 6 : December 16-22 : Daily One Salad per Day Challenge

Week 7 : December 23-29 : Daily Squat Challenge

So next week, the goal is to do push-ups everyday. I can’t do very many anyway, so I’m gonna start with 20 each day and see how that goes. I may increase and I may decrease. It’s been a while since I’ve done them so, I don’t want to go too cray!

I did want to talk briefly on 2019. I can’t believe we are already in the last month of the year. And what a year it has been. I have been thinking about what next year will look like for me as far as goals go, physically and mentally. Challenges  I want to complete or push myself to do. And I’m excited! I plan on doing a resolution/new year goals post coming up to let y’all in on mine.

I will say, since Thanksgiving Week, I have not done very well with eating and I haven’t worked out since my run on October. I blame it on the cold weather and the earlier dark nights. But I know if I really wanted to workout and eat better, I would make it happen. I am traveling the next couple of weeks so I plan on at least getting a little gym action in while I’m gone.

I hope you all have a great week. Stay warm and safe!
